Responsibilities include maintaining exam rooms, keeping records, providing patient care, and discussing procedures with clients. Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of experience in veterinary assistance.
• Interest in surgical prep and monitoring is preferred.
• Must be willing to work evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients.
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy.
• Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Perform physical assessments and record your observations.
• Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients.
• Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions.
• Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms.
• Care for surgical materials and maintain the operating room.
