Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Has veterinary industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet patients and their owners and take weight and vital signs
• Triage patients and assist veterinarians and technicians
• Calm and soothe anxious patients
• Assist with administration of medications and patient restraint
• Perform basic lab tests and take radiographs
• Maintain hospital equipment and records
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of chemicals and supplies
• Educate clients about insurance, wellness, and treatment plans
• Show up for work and support the hospital in all areas
