Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform required skills of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service ensuring comfort of clients and pets.
• Maintain patient flow during visits.
• Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
• Carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards for safety and cleanliness.
