Qualifications
Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to perform required skills of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant programs.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service ensuring comfort of clients and pets.
Maintain patient flow during visits.
Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
Carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
Adhere to hospital standards for safety and cleanliness.
Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans®.
Mentor other hospital team members.
