CareVet’s Northport, ME partner blake vets is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join our thriving practice. All experience levels are welcome, with mentorship and a friendly, collaborative team environment.
Our hospital uses advanced diagnostics like digital radiology and ultrasound, with in-house labs and electronic records to support excellent patient care. CareVet offers a six-figure starting salary plus production, a generous signing bonus, relocation stipend, and a robust benefits
Qualifications
- DV M/VMD required or equivalent
- Licensure in the state where the work will occur
- Ability to show compassion to pets and their owners
- Dexterity for precise veterinary tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment such as X-ray machines
- Advise owners on care, conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medications
- Collaborate with team to provide high-quality care
