Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required and licensed to practice in the state where you will work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate with clients and their pets.
• Ability to work well in a team and provide mentorship to newer grads.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems
• Treat and dress wounds
• Perform surgery on animals
• Test for and vaccinate against diseases
• Operate medical equipment such as x-ray machines
• Advise owners on general care, medical conditions and treatments
• Prescribe medication
• Collaborate closely with team to deliver high-quality care
