Heartland Veterinary Partners in North Carolina is seeking an Associate Veterinarian who is passionate about patient care and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. You will join a welcoming team that supports collaboration and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• State licensure in good standing.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation.
• Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds (with or without assistance).

Responsabilités

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injury.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples, interpreting results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgeries and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling around end-of-life care for pets.
• Maintain accurate medical records for patients.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and applicable laws.
