Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; willingness to pursue further education to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
• Ability to perform routine veterinary procedures and assist veterinarians.

Responsibilities

• Maintains veterinary knowledge and uses hospital materials for education.
• Provides compassionate patient care and alerts veterinarian to changes.
• Restrains animals safely during examinations and procedures.
• Assists with examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintains medical records and assists with lab work and radiographs.
• Supports hospitalized patients and ensures facility cleanliness.
