Job summary

PetCare Veterinary Clinic in Roseville, CA is seeking a Veterinary Technician to provide skilled patient care and exceptional service to clients. We offer 4-5 day schedules with 9-hour shifts and a 60-minute lunch, and both full-time and part-time options.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledge of common disease states and ability to alert veterinarians to changes.
• Familiarity with hospital safety guidelines (DEA, OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates.
• Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean and stocked.
