Job summary

Thearcas is seeking a Van Operator to transport clients from their homes to the agency in the morning and return them in the evening. You will ensure safety, punctuality, and comfort of all passengers while maintaining a professional attitude.

Requirements include a valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record, knowledge of vehicle safety checks, and the ability to assist passengers on/off the vehicle. Flexibility for on-call shifts and completing required training is needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• General knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Ability to safely operate a Van and secure wheelchair systems.
• Flexibility to be on-call and adapt to last-minute schedule changes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from homes and the agency, ensuring timely arrival.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document issues.
• Maintain daily transportation logs and rider reports.
• Greet and interact with passengers professionally and maintain positive relations.
• Represent the agency in a professional manner and participate in required training.
