MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital seeks a Unit Care Assistant to support patient care and unit operations. The role combines light secretarial duties with hands-on patient care under RN supervision to ensure a smooth, patient-centered workflow.

The position involves 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends, in a community-focused hospital known for teamwork and growth opportunities within the MultiCare system.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Washington State (DOH) Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under RN direction; processes orders; observes and reports changes in patient condition.
• Maintains a safe and clean patient and environment.
• Completes documentation and data entry; collects and reports health status data.
• Handles clerical duties on the nursing unit; answers calls, messages, records, visitors, mail, and transcribes orders.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Advocates for patient and family.
• Collaborates with staff on patient transfer/discharge.
