Job summary

• Previous Unit Aide experience.
• American Heart Association CPR.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care under the direction of the RN including ADL routine, measurement of intake and output and obtaining vital signs.
• Completes documentation which includes patient records ensuring it is completed according to hospital policy.
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth by taking advantage of the available opportunities.
• Participates in peer review and staff development, which includes unit and quality process improvement activities.
• Actively advocates for patient rights and identifies potential conflict. Seeks counsel for resolution of conflict.
• Communicates as appropriate with other members of the healthcare team.
