Job summary

Glenwood Healthcare Center in Princeton, WV, part of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is hiring a Transportation Assistant for full-time day shift. The role transports residents to external appointments and within the facility, ensuring safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license in state of employment.
• Graduate of Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible and must graduate and pass state test within 120 days of employment.
• Red Cross First Aid Certificate required.
• Experience in healthcare or service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to outside physician visits safely.
• Transport residents within the facility to scheduled appointments.
• Monitor residents at elopement risk on outside visits.
• Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
• Maintain resident documentation and safety standards.
