Job summary

Caring Transitions of Winston Salem is seeking a compassionate Transition Care Specialist to support clients through downsizing, relocation, and estate liquidation.

You will organize belongings, coordinate services, provide emotional support, and maintain accurate inventories, ensuring a smooth transition for families during challenging life events.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others during challenging life transitions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience in downsizing, relocation, senior care, or related fields preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sorting and Organizing: Assist clients in sorting belongings and making decisions about what to keep, donate, sell, or discard.
• Space Optimization: Maximize space efficiency with storage solutions and organizational strategies.
• Liquidation Support: Photography for online listings; writing engaging titles and descriptions; research to maximize sales.
• Coordination of Services: Coordinate with movers, estate sale professionals, and donation centers.
• Emotional Support: Provide emotional support during the downsizing process.
• Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of belongings and inventory throughout the process.
• Follow-Up and Feedback: Conduct follow-up meetings to ensure client satisfaction and gather feedback.
