Job summary

Devereux California is seeking a Personal Attendant to support adults with special needs in Santa Barbara County. You will assist with daily living tasks, hygiene, transportation, and accompany individuals to appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL and a good driving record is required.
• Must pass thorough background checks & Livescan.
• Experience in the field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with daily living, including cooking, cleaning and bill pay.
• Personal/Hygiene care.
• Medication administration.
• Accompanying individuals to appointments, errands and the Special Olympics.
• Assisting individuals with finding and taking public transportation.
• Other activities, as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
