Job summary

Community Horizons in Plover, WI seeks a compassionate caregiver/buddy for an adult son with autism. The role focuses on keeping him engaged at home and in the community while giving the family respite and peace of mind.

You'll support activities, transport to outings with mileage reimbursed, and help foster enjoyable shared interests in walking, exploring, and car reviews.

Compassionate Support Person Needed in Plover

Do you enjoy short walk, exploring, car reviews, and creating meaningful experiences? Community Horizons is delighted to support a wonderful family in the Plover area as they seek a caring and compassionate caregiver/buddy for their adult son, who has Autism. The goal is to help him stay engaged within the community and at home, while also providing some well-deserved respite for Mom and Dad.

What You’ll Do

• Support home and community activities
• Provide transportation to outings (mileage reimbursed)
• Encourage participation in shared interests like walking, exploring, and car reviews,
• Build a positive, and develop a supportive relationship
• Adapt to his needs and go with the flow

Schedule & Pay

• Weekday afternoons (Schedule is Very Flexible)
• 1-2 days per week
• 2-2.5 hours per day
• $17.50-$18.00/hour
• Mileage reimbursement provided
• PERKS – Discussed at Interview!
• Payroll is handled through a third-party fiscal agent - no money is exchanged in the home
