Job summary

Abcor Home Health, Inc. is seeking reliable Substitute Aides to support branches by filling in open shifts, assisting clients with daily needs, and ensuring continuity of care when primary caregivers are unavailable.

You will work Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM with some weekends, enjoy $20.00–$21.00 per hour pay, paid travel time and mileage, and benefits including health insurance and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Experience using mobility equipment (Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfer boards).

Responsibilities

• Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
• Light housekeeping to keep the home safe.
• Support with errands and appointments.
• Follow the care plan and report changes.
• Document visits in the home care app.
• Complete required training and quarterly check-ins.
• Fill in cases as needed; substitute aides may work with a client for up to one week at a time.
