Qualifications

• Certification or license is required (Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists).
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility.
• Involves families and significant others in patient’s recovery process.
• Facilitates and reviews initial treatment plans with each patient.
• Responds to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develops aftercare and discharge plans.
