Job summary

Aventura at Oakwood in Springfield, OH is hiring State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) for our skilled nursing and assisted living facility. FT shifts 7a-7p, focused on patient-centered care and assisting residents with daily living activities.

We offer pay rates $17.50-$23.50 per hour, benefits for full-time, PTO, daily pay, and opportunities for growth. New grads and walk-ins welcome; apply or walk-in interviews available Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certificate or in process of CNA exam
• Graduated from a CNA training program
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
• Passion for providing high‑quality, person‑centered care
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document residents’ vital signs, physical conditions, and emotional well‑being
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents
• Assist with meal service, ensuring residents’ nutritional needs are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate with nursing staff about changes in residents’ conditions
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, their families, and the team
