Job summary

Suncrest Hospice in Ohio seeks a State Tested Nursing Assistant to provide resident care under the direction of a Case Manager/DON according to care plans and nursing policies.

You will collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and the patient care team to coordinate appropriate care while maintaining safety guidelines. Certification and CPR are required; willingness to drive with reliable transportation is expected.

Qualifications

• STNA certification in the state of practice.
• Willing to drive with reliable transportation.
• Ability to collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains and care teams.
• Interest in certifications and ongoing education.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care under the supervision of a Case Manager/DON according to care plans and policies.
• Coordinate care with licensed staff to ensure appropriate services.
• Follow safety guidelines and nursing procedures at all times.
