St Luke Lutheran Community is seeking compassionate State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our Portage Lakes campus near Akron, OH. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living, maintaining a supportive, calm environment, and delivering high-quality care with a respectful demeanor.

Formación

• Active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in Ohio is required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on care with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor and document residents’ vital signs and condition.
• Report changes promptly to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation and positioning.
• Support meal service and assistance with feeding when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Communicate effectively with the nursing team and staff.
• Promote dignity, compassion, and respect in interactions.
