Garden Springs Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Toledo, OH, to join our compassionate care team. The role involves direct patient interaction, vital signs monitoring, and assisting with daily living needs in a nursing home setting.

Applicants must have a state-tested nursing assistant license for Ohio, completion of an approved STNA program, and strong communication skills. Work is in person with a flexible schedule including full-time or part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training course.
• Licensed to practice in Ohio.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills, including empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including meals, turning, ambulation, and providing water.
• Help patients with personal hygiene and restroom needs.
• Provide adjunct care such as ice packs and therapeutic baths.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely.
• Maintain composure in high-pressure situations and respond to emergencies calmly.
