Job summary

Scioto Rehabilitation & Care Center seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist nurses with resident care and daily living activities. Essential duties include bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and restorative procedures, with attention to safety and infection control.

Candidates must hold an Ohio CNA certificate, prefer a high school diploma, and demonstrate good written and spoken English. EMR duties and shift duties are standard expectations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certified Nurse's Assistant certificate in the State of Ohio.
• A high school diploma is preferred.
• Must have the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses in resident care and daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Perform restorative nursing procedures and retraining as needed.
• Keep residents’ bed, room, and living areas clean and tidy; respond to call lights.
• Monitor vitals, document in EMR, and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support infection control practices and follow safety procedures.
