Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Ohio to join our store pharmacy team. You will dispense medications, provide patient counseling, and deliver immunization services while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and supervising the pharmacy team.

You will ensure safe pharmacy operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and contribute to positive patient experiences as part of a collaborative health care team.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications safely and accurately while counseling patients.
• Immunize patients and support vaccination programs where permissible.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the Pharmacy Manager's absence during bench shifts.
• Coach and support pharmacy team to meet performance measures and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and CVS policies.
• Assist with inventory management and protect cold chain products.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.
