Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Ability to relate to ill, elderly, emotionally upset residents.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Plan and administer an appropriate treatment plan and communicate with the referring physician and rehab team.
• Maintain an accurate daily record of treatments, billing and charting.
• Follow weekly documentation guidelines for all residents treated.
• Provide in-service education to facilities, supportive staff, students and community.
