Job summary

Millennium Health in Bend, OR is looking for a Part-Time Female Specimen Collector to conduct observed collections for gender-identified female patients. This key role provides exceptional service and care to patients, clinicians, and the laboratory.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in a medical field.
• 2+ years of customer service experience can replace medical experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as an intermediary between the practice and the laboratory.
• Record patient information and physician order details.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe specimen collection when applicable.

Skills

Experience as a specimen collector

Customer service experience

Ability to navigate smartphones and computers

Familiarity with HIPAA and compliance standards

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
