Job summary

Community in Motion in Vancouver, WA seeks a Specialty Transportation Driver to provide safe, compassionate rides for neighbors and clients. The position is part-time (up to 24 hours per week) with a starting hourly wage of $21.00–$25.00 and a robust benefits package including fully paid medical and dental premiums, 401(k) contributions, and paid time off.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, pass background checks and a DOT physical, and be able to coordinate

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and a DOT-physical.
• Must be able to coordinate with staff and clients, and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services in ADA-compliant, accessible manner.
• Safely operate vehicle in accordance with laws and agency policies.
• Transport passengers to destinations in a timely, safe, and courteous way.
• Provide door-to-door assistance while maintaining passenger dignity and independence.
• Safely operate the wheelchair lift as needed.
