Job summary

Skylake Post Acute in Thornton, Colorado is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join an interdisciplinary team serving residents in a large skilled nursing facility.

The successful candidate will hold a Colorado SLP license, be ASHA-accredited, have passed the national SLP examination, and be proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care; CPR may be required. Experience in post-acute or long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ASHA-accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Experience in post-acute or long-term care environment preferred.
• Current Colorado SLP license.
• CPR as requested.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.
• National examination in SLP approved by the HHS Secretary completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to residents as part of an inter-disciplinary team.
• Deliver comprehensive therapy to support residents’ communication and swallowing goals.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in Casamba and Point Click Care.
