Job summary

The Phoenix at Lake Lanier is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport residents to activities and appointments. The Driver reports to the Executive Director and works Monday to Friday with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle safety checks, maintaining logs, and coordinating in emergencies while ensuring compassionate care in an Assisted Living setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish may be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to activities and appointments.
• Perform daily safety checks of the vehicle.
• Report vehicle or scheduling issues immediately to the Executive Director or Program and Outreach Director.
• Ensure safe assistance and transportation of participants.
• Maintain security of participants' belongings and communications.
• Keep vehicle interior clean daily and monitor fuel and fluids.
• Assist in evacuation during emergencies and coordinate with emergency services.
