Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, caring transportation for residents in Chandler, AZ. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, accompany them to appointments, and maintain strict safety throughout all trips.

Required HS Diploma or GED, age 21+, valid driver's license with a clean record, CPR as needed, and strong communication and time-management skills. You may also operate wheelchair lifts and assist with activities when not driving.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED, 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification (as required).
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
