Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician at Oakmont of Simi Valley to supervise and assist with medication administration and personal care for residents. You'll collaborate with care teams to support independence and meaningful activities.

Qualifications include 1 year RCFE medication assistance preferred, 18+ years old, high school diploma (LVN a plus), and background/health screenings compliance. The role supports a safety-first, compassionate eldercare environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience assisting with medication in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN license a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Pass criminal background check and health screenings (TB).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident pharmacy and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents and guests.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
