Job summary

Century Park Associates is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform daily laundry services ensuring residents' needs are met in accordance with laws, regulations and Century Park standards. Reports to the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor in a post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities include washing, drying, folding linens, assisting with residents’ personal laundry, maintaining supplies, and upholding high standards of customer service and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy serving seniors.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality.
• Maintain resident and guest relations with courtesy and understanding.
• Uphold confidentiality and follow policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold and distribute linens to residents.
• Sort items requiring stain treatment and cleaning.
• Assist residents with personal laundry in their machines.
• Press garments as requested and label personal laundry.
• Keep dryer filters clean and maintain supply levels for 24/7 use.
• Report supplies low and repairs to supervisor.
• Inspect and store equipment, tools and supplies properly.
• Return found items promptly and maintain carts in good condition.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards in housekeeping operations.
