Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a dedicated full-time cleaner to maintain sanitary and attractive living areas for residents. The role requires following schedules, cleaning resident rooms, public spaces and facilities, and supporting laundry tasks as needed.

Applicants should read and follow written directions, communicate effectively with residents and staff, and meet state health requirements. A compassionate approach to elderly care is essential for success in this environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow verbal and written directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and officials.
• Must have compassion for, and desire to work with, the elderly.
• Ability to work full or part time on a regular schedule.
• Must meet all state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor.
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas.
• Clean and polish room furnishings, fixtures and surfaces in resident rooms and public areas.
• Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms and public areas.
• Disinfect and deodorize walls and ceilings as needed.
• Clean hallways, stairways and elevators as necessary.
• Empty all wastebaskets.
• Report maintenance concerns to Maintenance Director or Administrator.
• Assist with laundry duties as directed.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Keep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderly.
