Job summary

The Residence at Whitehall is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to maintain clean and safe spaces for residents. You will keep common areas and resident rooms tidy, following established procedures and infection control practices.

Ideal candidates possess genuine care for seniors, basic English literacy, and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team. Physical endurance is required to lift and move items as needed.

Qualifications

• Genuine loving and caring attitude for seniors.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or senior community helpful but not required.
• Completion of employment screenings including background and drug tests.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common spaces and resident rooms following procedures.
• Follow safety and infection control techniques.
• Identify safety hazards and report to supervisor.
• Assist in resident care tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain teamwork and support fellow staff as needed.
