Job summary

The Residence at Whitehall is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean all common areas and resident rooms, following established procedures and maintaining a caring environment for seniors. The role emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered service.

Essential duties include detailed cleaning, safety compliance, and effective communication with management. The position requires the ability to lift 40 pounds and work collaboratively in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Genuine loving and caring attitude for seniors.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or senior living is helpful but not required.
• Complete required employment screenings including background check and drug screenings.
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow established performance standards and policies.
• Dust walls, handrails, ceilings, baseboards, furniture and blinds.
• Vacuum and spot clean carpets and shampoo as directed.
• Vacuum and spot clean sofa/chairs.
• Check for and remove marks from walls.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Keep chemicals properly labeled and carts secured.
• Collect and empty trash and maintain safety.
