Morada Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Texas-based team. The role involves cleaning apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices, while maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing fixtures, handling laundry, and ensuring safety compliance. This position offers full-time and part-time hours, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively speaking the primary language of the residents.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
• Interacts with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in apartments, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops and vacuums floors and stairs.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatory fixtures; stocks dispensers.
• Scrubs bathroom tiles, woodwork, window frames and sills.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Collects trash and places in designated pick-up areas.
• Responsible for collecting, cleaning and redistributing the community laundry.
• Maintains the commercial laundry in a clean, orderly condition.
• Keeps cleaning chemicals secured when not in use.
• Keeps cords, carts and equipment out of walkways; follows fire codes.
• Reports repairs and supply needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.
