Job summary

Viva Senior Living At Weatherly is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in the Maintenance and Housekeeping department to keep the community clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, while upholding the Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies.

The role requires ability to read, write, speak and understand English, and to work well with peers in a compassionate, dignified manner. Some call backs may occur during emergencies or weather events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must work well with peers and maintain compassion and dignity for residents.
• Attendance in accordance with company policy and handbook.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks to keep the community clean, safe and orderly.
• Daily dusting and waxing of furniture in assigned rooms.
• Daily vacuuming of assigned areas.
• Daily cleaning of bathrooms in assigned rooms (sink, tub, toilet).
• Replace paper goods and replenish toilet tissue, tissues and soap as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets in assigned rooms daily.
