Job summary

The Residence at Glastonbury, operated by LCB Senior Living, is seeking diligent housekeepers for full-time and part-time positions. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to high hygienic standards, with emphasis on safety and resident comfort.

Flexibility to handle multiple tasks, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and a strong work ethic are essential. Competitive wages and benefits apply from day one.

Qualifications

• The ability to maintain a clean and neat environment is required.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices and substances is required.
• The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required.
• Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in health care or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Certificates/Licenses: None required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community.
• As an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.
• Thoroughly cleaning the bathrooms; toilet, vanity, sink, shower, shower seat and floor with cleaning solution.
• Cleans kitchen areas completely; wipes counters and under objects, mops kitchen floors.
• Empty wastebaskets and replace bags.
• Dusting and polishing all surfaces.
• Clean windows and blinds and general pickup outside as needed.
• Wash and fold linens and manage bed linens.
