Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management is seeking an experienced HOUSEKEEPER for the Barclay at SouthPark community in Charlotte, NC. You will clean rooms, dust and mop floors, sanitize bathrooms, and replenish supplies, following established procedures and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work every other weekend with days off during the week.
• Attend Environmental Services Department meetings and required in-services.
• Must be able to read and write clearly to follow instructions.
• Follow cleaning schedules, policies and procedures per manual.
• Be kind and respectful to residents and maintain neat personal appearance.
• Read, know and follow personnel and Community policies.
• Wear appropriate uniform and nametag.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned number of rooms daily.
• Dust mop, vacuum room floors and bathrooms, including under beds and furniture.
• Dust and clean headboards, rails, night stands, dressers and picture frames.
• Sanitize bathrooms and disinfect surfaces and mirrors.
• Restock paper towels, soap and toilet tissue as needed.
• Clean dining rooms after each meal and vacuum common areas.
• Assist with moving soiled linen carts and returning clean carts as needed.
• Recheck all areas and clean as needed before end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
