Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years cooking in hospitality or healthcare, plus a state-required food handlers permit.

• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, staff and coworkers.
• Deliver dining in a restaurant-style setting as a highlight of residents' day.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen at all times.
