Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prior cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or a restaurant. Knowledge of food safety standards and the ability to follow recipes are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, meeting dietary needs and resident preferences.
• Serve meals timely with high quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen; store and handle food properly.
• Collaborate with Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist in training new staff.
• Assist with inventory management and report shortages to Dietary Manager.
• Respond to special dietary requests and accommodate preferences.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
