Job summary

Sodalis Senior Living in Longview, TX is seeking a caring Resident Assistant to meet residents’ needs in a safe, clean setting, guided by our Service, Integrity, Dignity, Excellence and Teamwork values. The role provides direct care and activities of daily living, supports meals, and helps with daily tasks and mobility, while maintaining health records and reporting changes to management.

Open interviews are Monday–Friday 10:00–4:00 at 1408 Lago Trail.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Senior Living facilities is a plus.
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility.
• Flexibility to participate in shifts and PRN availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and activities of daily living to residents such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Maintain health and wellness records in paper and electronic formats.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and assist with meals.
• Report concerns to management and document changes in condition.
• Assist with tours and marketing in the absence of management.
