Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a responsible driver to operate the facility vehicle for resident outings and appointments. You will be responsible for safety, loading/unloading residents, and coordinating with the team to ensure timely, secure transport.

Able to communicate effectively with residents and staff; must have at least 2 years of driving experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving requirements.
• Relevant work experience (2+ years preferred).
• Must communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and public.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must have basic reporting and organizational skills, including good verbal and written skills.
• Must be capable of maintaining attendance and punctuality.
• Must meet all health requirements per state regulations.
• Current state driver’s license in good standing; CDL may be required depending on state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive elderly residents on outings or appointments as designated by management.
• Obey all state driving laws and requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading of residents, staff and belongings.
• Ensure residents and staff are safely secured in all seats.
• Provide routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicle; schedule repairs as needed.
