Job summary

Vivera Senior Living of Jeffersonville seeks a part-time Transportation Aide to assist residents, drive the Activity Bus, and manage scheduling with a compassionate, professional manner.

Responsibilities include aiding residents on/off the bus, keeping the bus clean, and coordinating multiple transportation requests daily in Jeffersonville, IN. Must have a valid license and 21+ age. Strong communication and computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Must hold valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 21 years or older preferred with driving record in good standing.
• Prior experience in driving an Activity bus for the senior population is preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents on and off the bus, using the vehicle lift, when necessary.
• Walk residents into their appointment, picks them up from their appointments.
• Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the bus.
• Completes any forms necessary for upkeep of bus.
• Responsible for taking transportation requests and keeping track of all appointments.
• Coordinate multiple transportation requests in one day and accommodate all requests in a reasonable manner.
• Organize and coordinate directions to maintain the most efficient route.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when driving the Activity Bus, which supports team performance and productivity.
