Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to assist with serving meals and creating a welcoming dining experience for residents.

You will follow dietary guidelines and food safety standards while interacting with seniors. In this role you will operate, clean, and sanitize kitchen and cafeteria equipment, assist with dishwashing, and participate in culinary trainings to support compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Food service experience is preferred.
• Enjoys working with senior populations.

Responsibilities

• Provides a welcoming atmosphere in the dining areas for residents.
• Adheres to food safety and dietary guidelines based on residents’ needs.
• Operates, cleans and sanitizes kitchen and cafeteria equipment, and performs general cleaning and dishwashing.
• Actively participates in all culinary trainings.
