Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve menu items according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure presentation of all menu items adheres to standards.
• Prepare meals based on menus and nutritional plans.
• Maintain quality, taste, and dietary requirements per the Dining Services Director.
• Perform sanitary measures including cleaning and proper food storage.
• Work at an efficient and consistent pace and ensure timely meal preparation.
• Provide meals that meet residents' dietary requirements and portion sizes.
• Follow regulations including blood-borne pathogens and fire safety.
• Assist with training of new employees.
• Report incidents and maintain confidentiality as required.
