Job summary

Eventide Senior Living Communities is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server in Moorhead, MN for part-time hours from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. You will provide meals to residents with a focus on sanitary, timely service and teamwork within Nutrition and Culinary Services.

The role involves serving menu items with a cheerful attitude, maintaining portion control, and keeping dishes and stations clean. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 403(b) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.
• Part-time schedule: 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Follows portion control size standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director/Coordinator.
• Monitors daily menu items to ensure proper preparation and labeling.
• Stores leftovers according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet serving times.
• Operates dish machine and pre-soaks/sorts dishes.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items.
