This role offers a chance to give back to the community by providing dignified, one-on-one care to seniors and adults in need, in homes across Prattville, Wetumpka, Eclectic, Auburn, Opelika, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Respectful, compassionate and strong ethics.
• Good time management and interpersonal communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' input
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
