Job summary

Visiting Angels Montgomery, AL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support seniors across Central Alabama, including Montgomery and nearby towns. You will assist with daily living tasks, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping while forming meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Training options cover dementia and Alzheimer’s care to help caregivers expand their skills and grow in home-based elder care within our local team.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with prescribed medications as directed by caregivers or physicians (if applicable).
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion and report unusual incidents.
