Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide companion care to a senior client with dementia in Oklahoma City. You will join a team that brightens lives by offering a helping hand and a friendly smile, with caregivers often being seniors themselves (aged 40+).

This part-time role emphasizes light homemaking, daily activities, and respectful personal care, with flexible hours and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience or related certifications.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Maturity to handle the demands of the job.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute a care plan.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and homemaker duties, including light housekeeping, shopping, and errands.
• Assist with personal care duties, including dressing, feeding, showering/bathing, mobility assistance, toileting/incontinence, and memory care.
• Engage in activities that bring joy and stimulation to the client, such as games, movies, or walks.
• Document client's progress and daily activities.
• Maintain open communication with the client's family and the organization.
