Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiver with a genuine desire to care for seniors.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Willingness to learn and follow established care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care based on each resident's needs and preferences.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning and safe use of walkers and wheelchairs.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and snacks as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized living spaces and provide companionship.
• Observe and report changes to the nursing team; document care provided electronically.
• Follow individualized service plans, safety procedures, and infection prevention practices.
• Support welcoming new residents and help them feel comfortable in their new home.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, nurses, supervisors, and other departments.
